Bump in the Night is the series premiere of Chloe's Closet and the first episode for Season 1.
Plot[]
The episode starts off with Chloe playing with Lovely Carrot in her room. After dancing with him for a while, she checks on Hootie Hoo and discovers him upside down in one corner. Thinking that he's gotten hurt, Chloe places him on a table and uses a roll of toilet paper to wrap it around his head as a bandage. Just as Chloe asks Lovely Carrot on what he believes about it, she accidentally bumps Hootie Hoo with it, causing the remaining toilet paper to roll onto the ground. Just then, Jet comes in and joins in the fun, and later plays along with Hootie Hoo, making him fly. Chloe stops him midway to inform Jet about Hootie Hoo's wound, and Jet later defends that he is taking Hootie Hoo to see a doctor. The two continue to play along, just when Chloe's closet lights up, indicating dress-up time. Jet thinks that he and Chloe will be doctors for the day, but instead they’re gonna be astronauts, leaving him baffled.
Soon, Chloe and Jet are transported into their fantasy as they head to the nearby space shuttle, ready to board onto their rocket ship for take off. Lovely Carrot however is unsure of following them, but is dragged by Chloe along to board, despite his worries over heights. This especially is so when he nearly falls from that fear, but being capable to fly, he easily gets back up. Noticing the gap between the lift and the rocket entrance, he covers it up for Chloe, Jet and Hootie Hoo to pass and enter the ship, but temporarily gets stuck between the doors after it closes. With everyone on board and ready, Chloe and Jet initiate the count down and the rocket ship takes off into space. As Chloe and Jet begin to float, Lovely Carrot holds onto their legs as they look out into space through the ship, although he does let go eventually due to the pressure. On the passenger seat, Hootie Hoo finds a green planet which Jet finds unusual. After playing and driving the ship around that planet for a while, they drive around more unusual planets including a square shaped planet and a triangular shaped planet.
The gang then later reaches the moon, where Chloe gets ready to land on. At first, Lovely Carrot pushes her back, worried that she might fall down and hurt herself, but gets dragged along with Chloe down to a soft and bouncy landing. Jet and Hootie Hoo also join in, when Jet accidentally bumps his head on the edge of a cliff due to the space being dark. Chloe then takes a look up onto the sky where she notices the stars not being shiny. Seeing if she and the rest can help, the gang all head back to the ship and fly across the stars to inspect on them. Chloe realizes that the stars are dusty and she and the rest help out to clean the stars to make them shiny again.
Back in Chloe's room, Jet places Hootie Hoo on the shelf to avoid getting head bumped when Chloe's mother calls the two to go to the park. Chloe and Jet recap their adventure to her as they head out, but just as they close the door, the slamming causes Hootie Hoo to fall down again.
