Dan Russell (born January 18th, 1965) is an American male voice actor, voice director, and musician based in London, England that has provided the voice of Wizz and other various male and female characters in "Chloe's Closet". He also serves as one of the show's voice directors, alongside Pat Griffiths.

He was originally born in Boston, Massachusetts in America and later moved to London where he attended the University in London. Dan has also served as a songwriter for Acuff Rose Music, with additional roles as a session guitarist, singer, writer and voiceover artist for countless TV and radio ads, promos and documentaries. In music, he has worked with the famous likes of Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams. Currently, he has his own studio in London for voice and music recording - Dan Russell Limited.

Outside of his voice work in "Chloe's Closet", he is best known as the voice of Richard Watterson, Doughnut Cop, Mr. Fitzgerald and other various male characters in The Amazing World of Gumball (2011-2019), the narrator and other various male characters in 64 Zoo Lane (1999-2013), Granny P. in The Gummy Bear Show (2016-2017), Preston Paxton in Rainbow Rangers (2018-2019), Victor in StarDog and TurboCat (2019), Smeevil and Big in Smighties (2019) and the narrator of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid audiobooks.

  • Out of all the voice actors on the show combined, he has performed the most number of roles in the show, at over 115 in total.
    • These roles also includes all lizard, mountain, snow wolves, actual owl and male ostrich and gnome characters that have appeared in the series. The same also applies for both male supporting characters that have sung more than once in the series.
    • He has also voiced all male stand alone Penguin characters that are also exclusive to Season 1 that has sung in various episodes.
  • Discounting guest voice actors, he is the only voice actor on the show to have a double role as a voice director. Furthermore, he is also the only such voice director to work solely in the main series only.
  • Both fish characters that have been voiced by him have only appeared once in the series.
  • All elephant characters voiced by him are male one timers.
  • All bear characters that he had voiced exclusively in Season 2 are one timers.
