Cloudberry Cakes is the thirty-ninth episode of Chloe's Closet for Season 2, and the ninety-first episode overall.

Plot[]

The episode begins with Chloe and Tara pretending to be fairies, just as Jet arrives, kicking his soccer ball in, to which Chloe saves. However, Tara has a different opinion of soccer, to which she finds it boring, especially after having trained with an unfriendly coach. As Chloe and Jet persuade Tara to join on their team instead, Tara still sticks to her own beliefs, just as Chloe's closet lights up for dress up time. While Jet thinks that they may be playing soccer in a stadium, Chloe instead tells him that they will be visiting Norway for the day.

Chloe, Jet and Tara are then transported to their fantasy in the snowy hills of Norway, where they hear the commotion from afar coming from a small village nearby. From there, the gang all skis down the snow hill to find out where the noise is from, just as a reindeer approaches them, welcoming the gang to Norway. Tara especially admires the decorations of the trees, which is revealed to be part of a special winter fair happening the next day. With more tasks to handle, Chloe offers to help him out by placing the decorations on one of the trees. However, she is unable to reach to it, so Lovely Carrot offers to take over. Unfortunately for him, the ball he holds is much too heavy for him to handle, so the reindeer decides to lend the hand, using his mouth to hang it up the tree. With the trees now being completely decorated, the reindeer proceeds to take the gang to the village for the next part - which involves cakes and treats. As they arrive and witness the cakes, Jet swipes his finger and has a small taste of the cake, which to him is very delicious. However, according to the reindeer, it is not the best of the lot, since there will be someone coming about to deliver some extra special cakes in the night, which are made out of cloudberries grown high in the mountains. With the day being the very same night that person will be visiting, Chloe decides to stay up to find out the real identity of the special person, while the reindeer takes them over to a cottage to stay warm in the meantime.

As night approaches in the cottage, the gang witnesses the Northern Lights shining above the sky, just as soon as they hear someone humming along. As they open the door, there is no sight of the person, but the gift is left on the front door proving his arrival. From there, the gang wonders where he could be, when Chloe notices a trail of triangle footprints nearby. With that, she suggests following that trail of footprints, while the reindeer gets his sleigh ready to pull the gang over, flying across the night sky as he uses his nose to guide. This soon leads them in front of a snowy cave, which is revealed to be the home kitchen of that mystery person - the nisse. Just as soon as he notices Chloe and the gang entering in the kitchen, he quickly lets a bag of flour loose and flees off quickly to avoid getting caught. Catching his identity, the reindeer reveals it to the gang, explaining more of his helpful personality to them. Knowing how shy he can be, Chloe insists that they go look for him to explain how nice others can be. The search begins on an ice rink, to which Lovely Carrot is concerned about. However, Chloe reassures him otherwise as she skates about with Jet, hoping that the nisse might join in with their fun. As Tara sets her foot on the ice however, she seems to have a hard time balancing before falling down. From there, Lovely Carrot comes into her assistance to continue skating, just as the gang notice the nisse hiding in the shrub. Upon being caught, he quickly tries to make a dash away from the scene, just as Chloe hatches an idea to get the nisse's attention. There, she decides that they can all make their own special cloudberry cake, which the others agree with. As the reindeer flies back to the village for other ingredients, the gang searches for the cloudberries, but Chloe forgets to ask what cloudberries look like, leaving them mostly clueless on finding them.

During the search and guessing, the nisse secretly follows behind their back to see what is going on. With the gang still not having a firm answer, he quickly realizes their problem and catches up, revealing himself and showing them the exact bush in which these cloudberries grow on. Upon given a berry to try, the gang are amazed at how good it is, but the nisse is still pretty shy towards the others, worrying about being yelled at again following an incident with a farmer. However, Chloe proves this wrong and shows that other people can be nice, especially with the villagers and their gratitude to him for the cakes he makes. During which, the reindeer returns back with the baking supplies, and Chloe specially invites the nisse to make a special cloudberry cake with them. Upon completion, they present the cake at the town square, where the animal villagers are amazed, as they showcase their gratitude for his cakes with a special cheer.

Back in Chloe's room, Tara soon realizes how most people can be nice, as Chloe and Jet ask her once more if she'd like to play soccer with their coach. This time, Tara agrees to, just as Jet makes another shot, which Chloe's mother catches as she comes in. Chloe then comes forward to tell her about their adventure, and Chloe's mother specially invites the gang to make some cupcakes with her, which they excitedly agree to. Before leaving with the others, Chloe specially appreciates the day with Lovely Carrot as she gives him one more hug.
