We Ought to Be in Movies is the first, and hence series premiere episode of Chloe's Closet for Season 2, and the fifty-third episode overall.

Plot[]

The episode starts off with Chloe handing out paper hats to Lovely Carrot, Wizz and Soggy, while Jet and Tara work on making those paper hats out of newspapers for Hat Day. As Chloe hands out Lovely Carrot's hat, it is way too big for him, while Chloe's is too small. Tara then comes forward to switch those hat sizes to make it fit for the both of them just right. Meanwhile, Jet completes his own paper hat and tries it on, only it is too small for his head. Tara then puts on her own paper hat, which at first claims to be the right size, until it sinks down upon her. Disappointed at the result, Tara refuses make any more hats , just when Chloe's closet lights up for dress up time. For the day, she and her friends will become movie actors.

Chloe, Jet and Tara are then transported to their fantasy, in front of a movie theatre for a red carpet premiere. From there, the kangaroo paparazzi comes forward to take their pictures, but Lovely Carrot defends them from taking any further photos by shielding them, only to suffer seizures from the glaring brightness of the photograph lens. Chloe then notices her own mark on the pathway as a movie "sun", along with Tara, who at first sulks at the fact that she's not a star, although reassured by Lovely Carrot that a sun is indeed a star. Jet then returns driving in a limousine to pick up Chloe and Tara. However, a hippo usher directs them away to have their feet placed in the wet cement first. Thinking that it is a bad thing, Lovely Carrot defends him from taking Chloe and Tara to do this. Despite Tara's reassurance that it is normal for movie stars to do so, Lovely Carrot is still in the denial for them to even do it. However, as he pulls on the coat of the hippo usher, he accidentally loses grip and falls into the wet cement himself face flat. The paparazzi then decide to take this situation to place Lovely Carrot in the center of attention, which Lovely Carrot takes advantage of, just as Tara discovers her likeness in a movie poster with Chloe and a female gorilla star called Miranda Gorilla. It turns out that she and Chloe are part of the movie exhibiting in the theatre for the premiere, to which she gets even more excited. Just then, two young gorilla girls arrive and ask if Miranda Gorilla has arrived yet for her autograph before she enters the theatre, to which she hasn't. Chloe and Tara then approach over to help and heads back into the limo with Jet to find Miranda.

After passing by a town, Tara wonders where Miranda Gorilla lives, to which Chloe show her and Jet with a snap of the finger, which teleports them to the jungle. Upon arrival, they take a walk about the jungle to search for Miranda, while Lovely Carrot remains cautious of his surroundings. After being startled briefly by a flock of birds, Lovely Carrot ducks behind a nearby rock for cover. Tara seemingly approaches forward to comfort Lovely Carrot for this, but actually does so upon discovering some large diamonds nearby. Jet then snaps Tara out of it for them to concentrate on finding Miranda, which Lovely Carrot volunteers as he turns into a telescope for Chloe to look for. After a few glances, they eventually meet Miranda herself, who comes in swinging in from the vines. After greeting the gang formally, Miranda sulks for having to be at the premiere, and not looking great for the occasion, especially since she is too big to wear fancy clothing or accessories or sit in a limo to begin with. Chloe convinces her otherwise for looking just as good as she with the others, which lifts her spirits and hence motivation to come along. Jet initially gets her going by pulling her arm, but Miranda stays grounded to herself as she cannot leave just yet without makeup. With that, Chloe and the gang quickly proceed to deliver that as they assist along to give Miranda her finalized look for the premiere. Once everything is complete, Tara still finds something missing for Miranda, to which she suggests something shiny for the occasion. Chloe then offers her beaded necklace to Miranda, but it does not fit in around her head. Discouraged that she is still too big as a result, she relents in going to the premiere, but Tara stops her in the way and reminds her of her fans waiting for her back at the theatre. This makes Miranda feel more content and Chloe with the others promises to give her a larger yet shiny necklace to wear for the premiere, which they proceed to construct out of the shiny rocks and vines they can find in the jungle.

After presenting Miranda her shiny necklace, they proceed to drive Miranda off the premiere on the limo, except that Miranda seemingly does not fit in it. While Miranda claims that she can squeeze in, she also worries of her fans not being able to see the movie with her. Jet however tells her that Chloe has taken care of it, which makes Miranda more excited to follow along. Upon arriving back at the theatre, Miranda is greeted with the paparazzi as she walks the red carpet that is rolled out for her. During so, Tara gets confused at the fact that they are not going in the theatre to see the show. While this is true, Chloe tells her that the movie premiere is still happening, only outdoors now so that everyone can watch it with Miranda. After meeting her fans and signing their autographs, the movie begins to commence as everyone gathers to watch it outdoors through the night.

Back in Chloe's room, Tara rushes everyone to continue making more paper hats for Hat Day. This time around, Tara decides to measure her head to make a more fitting hat beforehand. During so, Chloe's mother comes in and checks in on their progress so far, which Chloe updates as she tells her about her adventure. With Jet and Tara's paper hats now ready, Chloe's mother takes them to the park to showcase their hats. While not being a big movie star, Chloe appreciates Lovely Carrot for being just the right size for her.
