No Body's Perfect is the fifty-first episode of Chloe's Closet for Season 1.

Plot[]

The episode starts off with Chloe doing a little dance in her room for Lovely Carrot. After Chloe finishes it, Lil and Mac come in as they play along with a balloon to keep it up in the air, which they have been doing so since they left their house. Chloe soon joins in to play along with them, when Mac accidentally hits upon Chloe's shelf, which causes her doll to fall off and break her arm. While Mac feels remorseful, Chloe reassures him that her doll (whose name is Karina) and her broken arm is natural. Lil then gets curious to Chloe as to why she still has her, to which Chloe explains that Karina is one of her favorite dolls. While Lil gets doubtful, Chloe's closet lights up for dress up time. For the day, Chloe and the gang will be pretending to be doctors and nurses.

Chloe, Lil and Mac are then transported to their fantasy in a hospital, where Chloe then proceeds to show Lovely Carrot the tools in her bag, which Lovely Carrot tests out one by one. However, Chloe soon gets curious at the presence of batteries in her bag, to which a nearby doll at the information counter points out that it will be needed for toys. This eventually dawns upon the gang that they are within a toy hospital, and the doll (whose name is Mendy) introduce herself to them. Mac curiously points over to her eyepatch, to which he suspects Mendy's eye being broken. While Lil tries to shush Mac due to it being slightly disrespectful, Mendy does not mind it and points out that her eye is indeed broken, which is the reason for her wearing an eyepatch. After formally knowing each other, Mendy informs the gang of their first patient, to which they attend over to in an operation theatre. The patient is then revealed to be a baby doll, which Lil approaches. However, with the baby doll continuously calling out for her mother loudly, Mac starts feeling uncomfortable and Lil seeks help from Chloe to make her stop. After checking her mouth, Chloe gives the baby a small pat, which makes her burp and stop cooing. Upon fixing her, Mac hands her out a lollipop, giving her the smallest due to her size.

Back at the counter, the gang awaits their next patient with Mendy, who informs them of the whereabouts in Room 2. Lil then wonders if Mendy had trouble reading with only an eye, which Mendy points out so, although she is a lot used to it now. After hearing the patient's call, the gang swiftly makes their way to Room 2, where the patient is revealed to be a rocking horse. Mac excitedly hops on board him to ride, while the horse himself explains his condition, where his spots are missing. While Mac comforts him with a hug, Lovely Carrot notices a few spots on his back, which the others take a closer look at. Chloe then confirms the rocking horse's condition to be a case of dusty-thitus, and gets Lil to take some buckets of water and brushes, while Lovely Carrot soaks himself in the soap water to wet the horse. After some scrubbing and rinsing, all the remaining spots on the horse are revealed, much to his joy. After Chloe gives him his prescription for his owner, Mac hands him a big lollipop, just when Mendy rushes in to inform Chloe of an emergency patient in Room 1. The patient reveals to be a small toy duck, which has broken and lost one of his wheels. Chloe initially has trouble understanding him, but Lovely Carrot steps in to provide the translations for her. Looking closely, Chloe declares a big operation for the toy duck, and proceeds to place him on the surgical table.

As they commence, Chloe reassures the toy duck that it will be fine for him, as Lovely Carrot hands over the appropriate tools to fix him. During so, Chloe gets a bit hungry, and has Lovely Carrot to get her a banana, which temporarily confuses him. After hammering his broken wheel in, the toy duck becomes as good as new as he moves about without difficulty. With the operation being a success, Mac hands him over a medium lollipop, and the gang heads back to the counter to wrap up the day with all patients being attended to. That is, except for Mendy which Lil feels bad for not being able to help her with her eye. Mendy however does not mind it, and remains optimistic and proud of who she is now, with or without a eye. During which, all the patients that they have attended to return back to thank the gang for their help, with a big cheer.

Back in Chloe's room, Lil finally understands Chloe's intent of keeping Karina by her side, while Mac excitedly digs through Chloe's toy chest for other toys, where he finds an eyepatch similar to Mendy's and wears it. During which, Chloe's mother comes in and Chloe recounts her adventure to her. Impressed and proud of their efforts, Chloe's mother decides to fix them up a snack. Before Chloe leaves with the others, Chloe gives Lovely Carrot a special hug, as she shows her love for all of her toys despite their differences.

  • This episode marks the following:
    • The only other episode in Season 1 to feature the occupation of doctors/veterinarians, with the first being "Do Little, Do Big". This is also the only such episode to feature Lil and Mac.
    • The first and only episode in Season 1 to cover the moral of being special and unique.
      • It is also the only such episode to feature Mac, and the first of two such episodes to feature Lil, with the other being "Faster Than a Speeding Ostrich".
      • Furthermore, it is also the first such episode to feature Chloe's Mother as well.
    • The first appearances of Karina, as well as her sole appearance in Season 1.
      • Furthermore, this is also the only Season 1 episode where she appears on the tittle card. On that note, this also marks the last Season 1 episode where a supporting character (including silent ones) appear on the tittle card.
    • The sole appearances of Mendy, the Baby Doll, the Rocking Horse and the Toy Duck.
    • The only episode in the entire series where there is no song performed during the dress up adventures, though this case had previously occured in the series pilot episode.
      • Furthermore, it is also the only episode where Lil physically appears, but does not perform any songs throughout.
    • The only episode where Lil and Mac also wears a variation of their main dress up costumes in the dress up adventures.
    • The first of two times (and the only time in Season 1) where Mac has somewhat of a costume outside of the dress up adventures, with the other being "A Samba Success". There, he wears a eyepatch to pretend to be just like Mendy.
    • The final episode where Chloe's mother is seen without her face revealed. Starting with her next appearances in Season 2, her face would be revealed and remain so for the rest of the show's run.

  • Etymology: The episode's tittle is a play on the phrase, "nobody's perfect", with the word nobody split up to put more emphasis on the word "body" in relation to the focus of the dress up adventure and the treatment of various patients.
