Chloe's Closet Wiki

Rainbow Riddle is the second episode of Chloe's Closet for Season 1.

Plot[]

The episode begins with Chloe pretending to be a store owner in her room, where Lovely Carrot is her customer purchasing a book. After counting his change, Chloe welcomes Jet and Soggy, and Jet decides to buy a puzzle. After Chloe finds one for Jet, Tara screams, causing Chloe and Jet to drop their toys in shock. It turns out Tara has found what she liked: a collection of hair bows. Jet finds a blue one and wants to get one as a bow tie for Soggy, but Tara refuses and insists on using all seven bows to create a rainbow-styled hairdo, explaining that a rainbow has to have all seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet (purple). Just then, Chloe's closet lights up, indicating dress-up time. Tara thinks they will be beauty shop ladies for the day, but instead, the friends will be playing in the rain with their rain slickers.

Chloe, Jet and Tara are then transported into their fantasy as they play on the top of hill in the rain with Soggy. Realising the weather, Lovely Carrot quickly shields them from the rain but the rain soon stops instantly and a rainbow appears. After Lovely Carrot dries himself up, Tara heads over to a tree with umbrellas grown on it to grab one. While Jet thinks that it is too late to use them due to the weather change, Chloe thinks otherwise as these umbrellas are used for riding instead. Soon, Tara and Jet each pick an umbrella, and Tara discovers a ribbon, so she ties it around her waist and chooses to call it hers. With that, the gang all slide down the hill with their umbrellas, alongside a path with flag poles which Tara knocks down clumsily as she slides down before crashing into the others. Just then, another ribbon falls from the sky and Tara excitedly gets it to tie around her waist. At the same time, Soggy seems to be missing, when he later gets noticed by the rest in several nearby puddles. With that, the gang all joins in to jump along, except Lovely Carrot who later gets drenched from these puddles. During which, Tara spots yet another ribbon and ties it around herself, although now curious to find out where they are coming from.

As Soggy continues jumping in puddles, he then jumps into a big pool and swims about, which catches the attention of several female frogs nearby. Joining in the fun, Chloe, Tara, Jet and Lovely Carrot pretends to be frogs. After which, Chloe and Lovely Carrot spot another ribbon hanging on a tree. Noticing it, Tara takes off the three ribbons that were tied around her waist and hangs it on the tree to show Chloe. Jet soon comes in having found a blue ribbon, and Lovely Carrot soon recognises the colors of the ribbons forming a rainbow, only missing two colors. Chloe then discovers that the rainbow they saw earlier was missing and that these ribbons indicate its respective colors having fallen down from the sky. Taking it as a blessing, Tara grabs the ribbons excitedly but is then hauled back by Lovely Carrot who reminds her about where they originally belong. Soon, the gang all sets off to find the remaining colors across different locations, where Lovely Carrot manages to find an indigo ribbon in a cave with Chloe and Soggy finds the violet one.

With all the colors now being found, the gang all board a hot air balloon to put the rainbow back in the sky, and later approaches Mr. Sun for help. After Chloe helps to clear the clouds in his way, the gang release the ribbons back onto the sky to form the rainbow again, while Mr. Sun helps support its structure along the way. With the rainbow back in the sky, the gang all view the rainbow on the ground in its glory, while Soggy's frog friends join in to watch as well.

Back in Chloe's room, Chloe's father comes in to check on Chloe, Tara and Jet. He then decides to take them to the art museum to see more colors, although a bit concerned about a possible incoming rain. Chloe reassures him, and assures him that the day will still be sunny, thanks to Mr. Sun.
