Seeing is Believing is the nineteenth episode of Chloe's Closet for Season 2, and the seventy-first episode overall.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Chloe and Carys pretending to dig in the sand, where Carys anticipates the beach visit they will have later after lunch. During which, Tara comes in with a whole basket of beach supplies, while also covering her nose at the same time. The reason for that as she explains is due to her mother having applied sun lotion on it, which she finds it awful. While Chloe, Carys and Lovely Carrot do not think so, Tara still believes that she could get mocked at later at the beach. During which, Chloe's closet lights up for dress up time. While Tara wonders if they will be princesses, Chloe reveals that they will all be nurses and doctors for the day instead.
Chloe, Tara and Carys are then transported to their fantasy, in front of a large owl shaped office, where Tara notices a large stalk-eyed fly walking into that building on its two legs instead of flying about. As soon as the gang heads inside the office, they soon notice a couple of insect patients waiting for their appointments, and promptly heads into their own office to prepare. After seeing the equipment that is available, Chloe realizes that she is an eye doctor, as the first patient (a butterfly) is brought in for check up. As Chloe starts to inspect her, she mistakes her wings for her eyes, which the patient corrects for her, shrugging it off as others tend to mistake her wings for eyes. Following her checkup, they proceed on with their next patient - the stalk eyed fly, who has no trouble with his eyesight.
After a few patients have passed, the last patient of the day comes in, whose name is Ida Spider. Upon trying to take her seat, she accidentally misses it with her abdomen in the way, causing the chair to spin and knock about the office, leading into another crash with her and Lovely Carrot as they try to stop it. After that mess, Ida apologizes for this due to her bad eyesight, and Chloe proceeds to start the checkup by checking on her eyes (which she is impressed due to the number of eyes Ida has). After which, Tara and Carys directs her to the eye chart, where her eyesight problem becomes clear as she has difficulty trying to identify the shapes. After sharing her experience of not being able to play bounce ball well as a result of this, Chloe offers to get her issue sorted, as she and Carys officially prescribes her four pairs of glasses. Unfortunately, Ida does not feel too comfortable about them as her other friends do not wear glasses. However, Chloe reassures her on this and directs her over to the variety of glasses that they have for her to try out. After picking her four desired pairs, Carys helps her out by putting those spectacles on for her, only that they slide off due to the lack of ears Ida has. Tara suggest getting the glasses to fit on her nose, but Ida also does not have a nose too. Thinking that this will mean she does not have to wear glasses, Ida prepares to take her leave, when Chloe stops her from doing so, ensuring that they will be able to find a way to get the glasses to stay on for her.
Using her spider web silk, Chloe attaches the lens of her glasses to her face, allowing the glasses to be placed firmly on her face at last. Now amazxed that everything she sees is a lot clearer, Ida gets another surprise to know how pretty she looks with glasses on. However, she still worries what her friends might think about them, to which the gang reassures her that they will. To prove that it is so, they take her out to the bounce ball court, where Ida demonstrates how bounce ball works, while being able to shoot her berry ball into the hoop at last. Interested, Carys and Tara both have a try at the game, but fail to make a hoop. Encouraging them with practice, Ida continues to play bounce ball with the gang, scoring more hoops about as they go. After a few rounds, Carys complements Ida for being such a great player at bounce ball, and Ida herself is grateful for Chloe's help. During so, Ida's friends come by and complement on how good she looks with her new pairs of glasses. Now glad that she can play well with her glasses, she joins her spider friends to play along with her for another round for bounce ball.
Back in Chloe's room, the gang resumes to prepare for the beach trip, just as Chloe's mother comes in to check in with them. The gang also shares to her their adventure, and Carys also points out to Tara's nose sunscreen, which gets her to make sure that they all have sunscreen on their noses for the beach. Before that, she proceeds to takes the gang for lunch, as Chloe complements Lovely Carrot once again.

Trivia[]
- This episode marks:
- The sole episode to tackle the value and moral of personal importance.
- The first of two episodes in Season 2 to feature the dress up theme of doctors/veterinarians, with the other being "Sinnie's Boo-Boo". This is also the only such episode to feature Tara and Carys.
- Furthermore, it is also the last and only such episode in Season 2 to feature Chloe's Mother.
- The sole appearances of Ida Spider and her friends, the Stalk Eyed Fly, the Owl Butterfly, the Caterpillars and the Centipede.
- The last appearance of the Pink Caterpillar, as well as her only other appearance in the series, with her first being "To Bee or Not to Bee". As such, this is also her only episode where she has a notable role.
- The last overall and only other Season 2 episode where Chloe appears alone on the tittle card, with her first for that season being "I Scream For Ice Cream".
- The first season 2 episode to have a 2013 copyright date.
- That means that this was the first episode to be produced in 2013.
- The last and only episode in Season 2 where the dress up theme of princesses is predicted/featured outside of the dress up adventures, a role which Chloe and Tara have been in various episodes prior (including the previous episode). Carys however would eventually get to be in that role in the dress up adventures for "A Princess Party" alongside Chloe and Tara.
- The last and only other episode (and the only Season 2 episode) where the theme of the beach is featured outside of the dress up adventures. Tar has appeared in both such episodes, and has previously experienced this theme with Chloe and Lovely Carrot in "Pre-School Musical".
- As such, this makes Carys the only main character that has not experienced this theme in her dress up adventures, with her closest being a sailor in "Singing at Sea".
- The first of only two episodes in Season 2 where Tara performs a variation of "Frere Jacques", with the other being "A Root Awakening".
- This is also the only time Carys performs a variation of that mentioned song.
- Chloe and Lovely Carrot's nurse and doctor costumes receives a slight modification starting from this episode, where the red crosses on the uniforms are now colored purple.
- In Russia, it is billed as the 18th episode of Season 2 instead.
- Etymology: The episode’s tittle is based on the phrase of the same name, which means to see something before you can accept that it really exists or occurs, which comes to play in this episode to an extent with Ida’s own doubts when prescribing and wearing her glasses.
